- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★To the people that 1Star rated this... you must not have had all of your paperwork, because I went on a Monday to do an out of state title transfer; amd even though the line wrapped around the front waiting room; as long as everyone was prepared they were in and out. I spent no longer than 35 minutes in the building before I was finished. Just keep in mind the notary fee must be paid in cash. This particular place in Hickory NC is quite a breeze. Comparably, tag Agencies in South Florida take roughly 5-6 hours of waiting in line to do the same thing, and this includes showing up 2 hours before the doors open so you can make sure you've got a spot.
